Polit. urge govt to intervene in Sarabjit-Surjeet

Shimla/Chandigarh/New Delhi/Lucknow, June 27 (ANI): Cutting across political lines leaders of various political parties urged the central government led by Congress to intervene into goof-up of Sarabjit Singh. Meanwhile in Chandigarh, Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal appealed to the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to personally take up the matter. Meanwhile Congress leader Harish Rawat in New Delhi echoed on the same lines as Badal while congratulating Surjeet Singh’s family over the report of his release with Pakistan.
