It seems that Bollywood filmmakers have finally realized that today's moviegoers are more interested in comedy movies than love stories or serious cinema. If we study the last year's box office collections, it clearly indicates that the audiences want to relax themselves while watching the movies. So, it's good news for those who want to watch true comedy on screen. Yes, we are talking about director Ashwani Dheer's forthcoming movie 'One Two Three' starring Suniel Shetty, Upen Patel, Esha Deol, Sameera Reddy, Tusshar Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and Tanishaa besides others. 'One Two Three' is a comedy thriller of three men from various parts of India, each having his own characterization and identity but sharing a common name "Laxmi Narayan'. This establishes the basic plot of the film. The music of the movie is given by Raghav Sachar and the lyrics are by Aditya Dhar and Munna Dhiman. The music is available on Eros International. The album has total 9 tracks but the title track of the movie 'One two Three…….' appears thrice in the album.
The album opens with the title track 'One Two Three……' sung by Kunal Ganjawala and Raghav Sachar. It's a hip-hop version. Music-wise Raghav has done good work while lyrics are not that impressive. Kunal as usual has done his job very well. Good catchy number! The next track of the album is 'Rock Mahi' sung by Raghav Sachar and Sunidhi Chauhan. This is another good number by Raghav. Good job by both the singers. Timing between the two singers is good. This is another listenable song of the album but only once. So, an average number!
The next track is 'Gup Chup' sung by Mahalakshmi Iyer and Raghav Sachar. Good start by Mahalakshi. Raghav has done his job beautifully and picked up the track very smartly. Lyrics are also good and soothing to ears. Good romantic track by the Mahalakshmi and Raghav team.
Here it is the version of the title track 'one Two three….' In amalgamation by Kunal Ganjawala, Kaptan Laadi, Kshitij Tarey, Kailash Kher, Raghav Sachar and Aditya Dhar. Good attempt in using Bhangra beats and Ghazal in the single track. But too much changing of rhythm and lyrics may irritate the listener. Lyrics have no sense at all. Better to concentrate on music only.
The next tracks 'I wanna guy' a solo number by Sunidhi Chauhan. Good attempt by Sunidhi Chauhan. Music is so so. Listen and forget type of song. Better to move to next track.
After this solo number here comes the remix version of 'Gup Chup' this time sung by Shilpa Rao in place of Mahalaxmi Iyer and the other co-singer is Raghav. Shilpa starts the track with the same pace as Mahalakshmi did in the original version but Raghav fails this time. Nothing special worth a mention! Let's move to another track.
Now comes the third version of the title track 'One Two Three'. This time it's in a club mix. Nothing additional but much better than the amalgamation version! Looks better in fast pace!
Here is another good number 'Laxmi Narayan' sung by Ninad Kamat'. Yes, there is something special to speak to Raghav - Not to try this type of track, again. No sense of lyrics. Seems coping so many things - music, style and lyrics at the same time. Totally senseless track!
And, at the end there is the forth version of the title track and that too in ballad. Too slow, looks like the entire team was too tired to say stop this nonsense.
On the whole, the music of the 'One Two Three' is listenable but not more than once. People can remember this for a while but not for long. Everything depends on the movie as the music is totally disappointing.
