Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the craftsman of weaving scintillating cinematic dreamy visions, makes the biggest news of the year with his magnum opus 'Saawariya'. The film is breed apart from his earlier momentous hits as it's first major occasion where filmmaker has shouldered his film on two newcomers rather than relying on noted talents. Ranbir Kapoor, son of Rishi Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, daughter of Anil Kapoor, make their dream launch with this larger than life costume drama. Monty Sharma, the prolific background scorer of Bhansali's 'Black', makes his debut as solo composer with some mind-blowing musical soundtracks. Besides Monty Sharma's immaculate talent, the album also showcases two new singers - Shail Hada and Parthiv Gohil - to the marquee with outstanding results. Sanjay Leela Bhansali tries his hand at composing and delivers one soundtrack in the album. Eminent lyricist Sameer shows his poetic exuberance as it comes striking all the way with intense romantic flair in the soundtracks of this album. 'Saawariya' delivers soul enchanting musical journey in eleven soundtracks that can be heard on Sony BMG music cassettes and CD's.

Saawariya (2 Versions) : In 1973, Shailendra Singh was the chosen voice for Rishi Kapoor in his launching vehicle 'Bobby' and now another Shailendra Singh (alias Shail Hada) makes gusto solo appearance for his son Ranbir Kapoor in the latter's debut venture in frolicking title soundtrack - "Saawariya". It has stylish soft rock ballad appeal where tingling orchestration, delectable guitar strumming and effective percussive elements make it one of the finest solo numbers of this year. Undeniably, Shail Hada is the finest debutante male singer of the year and it is clearly evident in his 70's stylized yodeling style that comes appealing all the way with delightful wordings. This vivaciously exuberant number has already been hot-shot chartbusting hit from its first day of release and is presumed to be the strongest box office aspect for the film.

"Saawariya" brings out concert feel look to the number where Shail Hada sings this number in almost unplugged version. It's moreover delivered as celebrating concert number where loud clapping and whistling surrounds the decorum amidst vigorous vocals and orchestrations. Both these scintillating versions are likely to cast magical spell on pop genre listeners and will be catalyst for the festive spirit to the film.

Jab Se Tere Naina: Shaan's brilliant vocals are at best as it makes strikingly brilliant chemistry with expressively romantic wordings and smoothening musical flows in intensely rendered "Jab Se Tere Naina". Monty's music brings out the flavors of vintage eras where sauntering sitar riffs, animated drumming, and enthused percussions complement mellifluously driven vocals in the backdrop. Shaan delivers his one of the most momentous tracks of all-time that will bring smiles to all the melody loving ears. 'Saawariya's musical prospects as well as box office results look bright.

Masha Allah: "Masha Allah", saintly divine romantic offering, maintains the soul-enchanting decorum of the album. Kunal Ganjawala's soft and sonorous vocals enlighten the first "boy-watches-girl" enchanting experience where delectably poised orchestration makes sprightly presence with penetrative lyrical flow. It's a wonderfully composed soundtrack where Shreya Ghoshal's shimmering voice supplements the track with booming rendition of "Allah" in her shimmering soft textures. It's likely to be a visual spectacle for viewers and can be presumed to be this year's one of the finest conceived on-screen soundtrack.

Thoda Se Badmash: Sanjay Leela Bhansali shows his musical passion for his ambitious project as he turns music composer for "Thoda Se Badmash", a lovable solo feminine number by Shreya Ghoshal. It has shades and glimpses of Shreya's wonderful number "Bairi Piya" ('Devdas') for its mischievously driven lovable endeavors emoted in enchanting phrases. It's a beautiful song that has supple arrangements with nostalgic touches and will catalyze the love chemistry during its narrative flows in the film.

Yoon Shabnami: It was a real delight to hear debutante Shail Hada in "Saawariya" and the magnetism of soul-enchanting music gets on to extra dimensions with another impressive debutante Parthiv Gohil making his bright presence in wonderfully rendered "Yoon Shabnami". This remarkably conceived romantic number has the mold and decorum of typical "qawaali" flows with expressively penned wordings. Sandeep Nath's delightful wordings are eclectically tuned with the "Saawariya"s euphoric and melancholically driven signature tunes that make it emblematic for the film. Parthiv Gohil's intensely rendered vocals will make him top favorite among producers and the soundtrack will certainly be promising positive results for the film.

Daras Bina Nahin Chain: The booming excruciating folksy vociferous splurge of Richa Sharma makes sparkling presence with mesmerizing soulful backdrop of free-flowing "Saawariya" in air in beautifully conceived soundtrack "Daras Bina Nahin Chain". This number was the first impression made through its teasers and worked well as promotional feature. Monty's enchanting soft instrumentals are mellifluously synchronized with chorals' backdrops of "Allah", depicting the wait for eternal beloved ("Saawariya"). Shail Hada and Parthiv Gohil deliver competent backdrop singers' outlook in emanating the soulful spirit with their classically profound vocals. Monty was successful in giving soul-enchanting musical appeal in background scores of 'Devdas' and 'Black' and this adds gracefully to this cadre.

Saawar Gayi: "Saawar Gayi", a poignantly expressive romantic soundtrack has refined and shimmering vocals of Shreya Ghoshal with euphoric rhythmical backdrop of happenings. The song has pleasant soundings and expressions of water gushing out from "gondola", ringing bells and thunderstorm in the song that exhibits the varying moods of sentimental beloved. Bhansali's aesthetic affluence and Monty's harmonic brilliance capture all such vivid moments with flair that transcends beautifully with Shreya's vocals.

Pari: Kunal Ganjawala's husky voice is resplendently refined in evoking the innocent feminine charm of beloved through the poetic gesticulations of lover in lovable soundtrack "Pari". Monty's supple arrangements are remarkably rendered with Sameer's poetically cultured wordings that give it an author-backed backdrop of boy idolizing girl in angelic ("Pari") form. Kunal is in top form again and delivers his finest solo ballad track that deserves to be complemented with skilled cinematographic skills.

Jaane E Jaan: Kunal Ganjawala returns with sadistically romantic number "Jaane- E- Jaan", a song that is strongly influenced by RK Banner's style of 60's musical works. This soundtrack fails to be as appeasing or appealing in its musical rendition and works routinely as melodramatic sad song. Even Shreya Ghoshal's added vocals fail to evoke any major melancholic touches in its latter interludes.

Chabeela: Finally, there is experienced Alka Yagnik getting behind mike in another conventionally penned Bollywood number "Chabeela", depicting the bodily description of lover in jocular vocal moods. It's again a typical R.K Banner style number that was heard in films like 'Henna' or 'Ram Teri Ganga Maili' and sounds too contemporary.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Saawariya' can be termed as one of the best sellers of year 2007 for delivering soul enchanting musical experiences in its musical packaging. The album is expected to be a big boon to Bollywood's musical fraternity as it brings chartbusting tracks like "Saawariya", "Jab Se Tere Naina", "Masha Allah" and "Yoon Shabnami" to the marquee. Besides Monty Sharma's musical prowess, the album surprises with vocal charms of new singers - Shail Hada and Parthiv Gohil - while Shreya Ghoshal delivers her finest solo tracks in the albums. It is believed that these promising musical reports should be furnishing bright box office prospects for the film in the coming month.
