Earlier, it was DJ Akbar Sami and DJ Suketu but now there is Hanif Shaikh delivering the snazzy and hip-shaking remix work in Reshammiya's stylishly packed music in "Tere Layee (remix)". This remix has typical "club" mix feel that has already been hallmark of every Himesh Reshammiya delivered album. Anyway it propels new talent Hanif Shaikh to the spotlight and the number promises to be fun on floors.
YEH DOORIYAN (2 Versions) : Fresh talent Hanif Shaikh makes his singing debut in contemporary Indi-Pop style of singing as he chills out with exuberantly delivered solo fast paced soundtrack "Yeh Dooriyan". This above average sound shows respect and admiration to international pop diva Shakira in its lyrical work. The singer sounds contemporary and even its regular paced hammering and hip-hop rendition fails to create any ripple. Like "Tere Layee", it is conceived to be a dancing track and hardly delivers anything special or innovative for listeners. Hanif Shaikh's vocals gel effectively with Afro-styled hip-hop music and Arabian styled beat patterns but the gripping of a deserving chartbuster track is completely missing.
"Yeh Dooriyan (remix)" by Hanif Shaikh is another "run of the mill" remix soundtrack that comes with loads of drumming and hammering impact. This average sounding remix number should work well as promotional track as this highly energized original soundtrack is overpowered by accelerated beat patterns with no big histrionics.
EK KALSA (2 Versions) : Himesh Reshammiya finally makes marks with his trendy nasal twang as he comes with above average dancing track with synchronized drumming impact in "Ek Kalsa". This has slow paced rhythmic hip-hop arrangement that gives a pleasing upbeat effect with weird sounding lyrics. It's Afro-American styled hip-hop of music where the singer impresses with finely balanced orchestration. This musical work of this number has loose inspiration from party album track "Glassy" (Album - Asian Flava Vol.2) as the word "Glassy" has been replaced with the word "Kalsa" (earthen pot or vessel). Sameer's lyrics gel effectively with dancing rhythm as the lyrics get rhyme in tandem with its pulsating beat patterns. Once again it's a dancing track rather than a listening treat and its slick choreography will decide its fate.
"Ek Kalsa (remix)" by Hanif Shaikh is equally entertaining as there is regular check on high spirited disco beat fillers and funky pulsating musical effect. It can pull out a surprise dancing sensation on floors if the track meets with encouraging results on screen.
SIGDI (2 Versions): Himesh Reshammiya sounds inspirational again and this time he takes big inspiration from his "bhangra" track "Nachle its Folkish" (pop album - "Aap Ka Suroor") in the loud and motivating soundtrack "Sigdi". Sameer's uncharacteristic lyrics sound too rustic as there is a usage of unfamiliar words like "Sigdi" (a beautiful girl) with blend of folk lyrics. If you have enjoyed Reshammiya's "Nachle its Folkish", then it can entertain as this time he mixed tinge of hip-hop (Earl) with impressive classical "alaap" (Jayesh Gandhi) in its composition. It's another above average dancing number that requires the expertise of good choreographic skills. No wonder that Reshammiya's music sounds hip-shaking in this number but is regularly repetitive with recurring Sufi funk and pop impact. Hanif Shaikh DJ's (disco jockey) skills have been prolific throughout the album in nourishing the original track with hip-shaking musical thump and he continues to impress with another bouncy remix work in "Sigdi (remix)". If you have been an ardent listener of the UK styled "bhangra" tracks then this remix number will bring smiles on your face.
FNF (Masti Remix): "FNF (Masti Remix)" can be termed as anthem soundtrack of the album and it sounds similar to the title track of 'Apna Sapna Money Money' for its racy music appeal and prankish squeaky voice rendition in the prelude. The song is a medley of all the tracks and it includes the mixing of signature tunes of "Ek Kalsa" and "Sigdi" with fine mixing and balancing of their rhythmic patterns in a loud thumping musical impact. This can be better used in the fast paced action sequences or as background score in the promotional videos and promos.
'Fool n Final' is more of a dancing album than a party album as Reshammiya's musical work is more inclined on synchronized beat patterns. The music has the feel to impress Gen X listeners but none of the tracks is of chartbuster quality. The soundtracks "Ek Kalsa" and "Sigdi" have edge over other tracks but even their musical arrangements sound repetitive. Himesh Reshammiya has again delivered an average album as he sounds repetitive and it's high time that he revamps his musical style. 'Fool n Final' is an average grosser but if the film proves its merit at the box office then the album might get a big thrust.
