Arabic traditional feel flows in air with singer Hamza's voice initiating passion for the soundtrack "Dil Deewana". Sonu Nigam sings the loneliness of a lover's heart with high-pitched Arabic background vocals. Sowmya Raoh gives feminine touch with her voice and joins the soundtrack with Sonu Nigam and Hamza. It has been composed on the guidelines of "Kaho Na Kaho" ('Murder') as both the tracks are heavily loaded with Arabic pop stuff and experience. It's a free flowing tune which has been used as one of the signature tunes in the climax of the film.
It's echoing vocal propelling in pop music with singer composer Suhaas chilling out "Sini Ne Sini Ne". The rollicking feel is pulsating with the yuppie touch with indifferent set of words and lyrics. Suhaas' voice stems out in echoing mode along with soft and sentimental jazz and pop music. The Siddarth-Suhaas music is innovative and experimental and caters mainly to genre representing themselves as party animals. To add more rollicking effect the remix version of "Sini Ne Sini Ne" has been added to promote the album's sales and prospects in the market. The party fever doesn't end here and the flavors get carried forward in frolicking soundtrack "Jiska Mujhe Intezar". This time it's time for youthful KK and trendy Suzaan holding the mike with all the high-pitched vocal effects. Its long waits by the lovers as his painful emotions sing his lonely heart. KK has been a revelation in "viraah" (separation) song as his finest track has been tragic love song from 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'. This proves his mettle once again in his soft and subtle voice exuding sentimental touch. Additional vocals by Suzaan pump out the trendy ambience with sorrowful emotions singers carry.
Side B has four original soundtracks with the blend of sentimental and rollicking musical soundtracks. Voluptuous charm strikes chord in feminine mould for the first time with soundtrack "Dilruba". Sunidhi Chauhan's striking voice sings for the seductive charms and moves with conventional beats. It's routine soundtrack that can be heard in every second film as an item number. The music is mixture of conventional and Arabic music with traditional Sunidhi voice supporting it. It's situational and ordinary. Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant's second big offering after "Mar Javan Mit Javan" comes in the sentimental soundtrack "Yaad Teri Yaad Aaati Hai". The slow moving song senses the lover's sad and morose feeling while memorizing his beloved. It's pretty ordinary presentation once again from Sajid Wajid and fails to impress. Shreya Ghoshal's voice sings for the female counterpart but disappoints completely. Abhijeet Sawant impresses but gets raw deal from the music composer with lackluster musical presentation that can be heard in umpteen soundtracks.
"Tere Ishq Mein" is another sentimental soundtrack in conventional "Sufi" musical style and mode. Rahul Saxena, Shadaab Faridi and Arif Sheikh sing sorrowful and painful rendered lyrics with emotional feel. This "Sufi" impresses and unlike the previous one it generates pathos and distress for the protagonist. Vocals impress and Sajid Wajid's mournful presentation is appreciable.
The final soundtrack of the album starts with countdown to the hot "n" happening remix version of "Sini Ne Sini Ne". It's peppy, vivacious and rollicking that sets dancing floors to groove. It's now mandatory to have at least one remix soundtrack in every album and this remix number entertains too. 'Jawani Diwani' caters to young generation primarily with majority of number targeting them. In simple words, it can be termed as "average" music album with couple of impressive soundtracks. It won't be possible for the music by Sajid Wajid to lift film prospects and producers can expect average sales in future.
