We know a lot about Vivek Oberoi losing his love Aishwarya Rai. However, only very few of us may be aware about his loss of first love. He says he lost his childhood sweetheart when he was 18 and the girl only 13. And, he lost her to cancer. That's why the actor is the brand ambassador of Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA). He says by helping those who cannot afford treatment he feels he's honoring his late girlfriend. He feels contented whenever he helps CPAA, spends time with the patients going to the hospitals on Rose Day or celebrates his B'day with terminally ill children.
He was devastated when he lost her, but by helping save the ones who can't afford the treatment and medicines, he feels she's alive in their smiles! His mother taught him the best way to honor the memory of someone one loved and lost is to reach out and ease someone else's pain and misfortune, adds Vivek. The actor is now eagerly looking forward to the release of 'Prince', which is his first solo hero movie in five years.
