Former lovers Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor continue to be against
each other. At a recent event, both demanded from the organizers to
perform after the other. Shahid insisted that he wanted to perform
after Kareena as he had given more hits in 2009 and Bebo maintained
that she was a bigger star, and should get to perform after Shahid.
After a lot of struggle, the organizers managed to coax Shahid and let
Kareena have her way and perform after him. Besides, keeping a close
watch on the ‘Kaminey’ star, Bebo commented on Shahid’s nerdy look and
said he was not looking good with the glasses.
After targeting Shah Rukh Khan for his remarks supporting the addition
of Pakistani cricketers in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Shiv
Sena has dragged in Aamir Khan, calling the duo ‘2 Idiots’. In real
life, Aamir and Shah Rukh Khan have been proved as '2 Idiots' as both
make stupid statements supporting the cause of Pakistani cricketers,
according to a statement in the party's Hindi mouthpiece ‘Dopahar Ka
Saamna’. While SRK openly displays his love for Pakistani players,
Aamir would have anyone in his team irrespective of the country he
belongs to.
R Madhavan has also bagged yet another project and this time from a
director who gave earlier India's first ever football-centric film
‘Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal’ and the suspense flick ‘Chocolate’. After a
considerable gap, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri is back with a biopic film
this time, titled ‘Freedom’. While Maddy will play the lead, the
director reveals that he plans to rope in another southern superstar
Mohanlal for the film. Incidentally, Vivek has another project on
hand, titled ‘12’. The film is reportedly based on the famous
Hollywood classic '12 Angry Men'.
After the astounding response to ‘Paa’ and ‘3 Idiots’ in 2009,
Reliance BIG Pictures is all set to tickle the audience funny bone
with its new year release ‘Well Done Abba’, due to hit the screens on
March 26, 2010. The film starring Boman Irani, Minissha Lamba in
pivotal roles along with Sammir Dattani, Ila Arun, Sonali Kulkarni,
Ravi Kishen, Rajit Kapur, Ravi Jhankal and Yashpal Sharma and shot in
Hyderabad is made by none other than Shyam Benegal. .
Sohrab Mirza, who’s currently doing his MBA in the UK, opens up about
the break-up with his girlfriend International tennis star Sania Mirza
He says differences between them cropped up right from the beginning.
After the engagement, they realized they were completely incompatible
although they had known each other for around six years and their
families have been friends for three generations. He further says it
was a mutual decision to get engaged and they mutually decided to part
ways. He blasts the myth that the split was due to any complex! Sohrab
adds that Sania was a celebrity for the world, but for him she was a
