    STARS CREATE DISEASE AWARENESS

Bollywood sets a new trend in exploring rare diseases with directors casting superstars in roles. Thus, they are able to create awareness about such lesser-known ailments. Abhishek Bachchan and Vidya Balan say NGOs and social workers are cheering this move. In the upcoming flick 'Paa', Abhishek and Vidya are the parents of superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Big B plays a child affected with Progeria a rare genetic disorder where a child ages three times faster than normal. Abhi says those affected by the medical condition usually have a short lifespan and the average patient survives only upto the early teens. But some patients can live upto 30 years and the cause of death is usually related to the heart or a stroke. The director R Balki of 'Paa' accepts that cinema has the strength to help disease-affected people by portrayal.

But, later the producer dropped her name, which infuriated Dutt and he also left the flick without thinking twice. Neha has been replaced by the current Miss-India world Pooja Chopra. Sanju, who earlier worked for free for a guest appearance in Vashu Bhagnani's 'Kal Kissne Dekha' seems to be in no mood for reconciliation.

This happened after his home production 'Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna' miserably failed at the box office. He says he has given his best in 'London Dreams' as the script is actually nice. Not only that he has hired a team of experts to read all the scripts before they come to him for approval. After the super success of his film 'Wanted', Sallu wants work in the best of the projects.
