Aamir Khan's directional debut 'Taare Zameen Par', has secured an entry into the Oscars beating exceptional films like 'Jodhaa Akbar', 'A Wednesday', 'Mumbai Meri Jaan', 'Rock On', 'Black And White' and two Marathi films and a Telugu movie. Aamir desires his 'TZP' to reach the top 5 of the nominations, like his previous film 'Lagaan'. Though not sure if 'TZP' would win the award, but would definitely leave a strong impact, he adds. Earlier, Aamir's 'Lagaan' and 'Rang De Basanti' have also been nominated for the Oscars in the past.

The Delhi High Court on Monday gave the green signal for the release of a Bollywood children's film, 'Hari Puttar: A Comedy of Terrors,' which had run into a controversy over allegations that its name was similar to the Warner Bros' 'Harry Potter'. Justice Reva Khetrapal, in an interim order, refused to put curbs on the release of the Indian film on Friday. The court refused to accept the Hollywood production house's plea that the producers of the Indian film had intentionally chosen the title 'Hari Puttar...', which sounds phonetically and structurally similar to popular trademark 'Harry Potter'. The producer of the film, Mirchi Movies Limited, asserted that the film's title wasn't in any way similar to 'Harry Potter' as alleged, because it is based on an original literary work with no resemblance to Potter. It said the title 'Hari Puttar...' is not associated with Harry Potter and in Hindi and Punjabi it means God's son. The movie is scheduled for worldwide release in Hindi and English on coming Friday.
