Bomb blasts aren't new for Delhiites. They have had it several times in their strides in the past. Several important historical buildings like the Red Fort in Old Delhi and Parliament House in New Delhi have been the targets of terrorists. Dilliwallaas witnessed again blasts on Saturday last in various parts of the city, ending in the death of two dozen persons and over one hundred injured. However, the Capital has quickly returned to normalcy. There is a film shooting spree in the capital these days; not one or two, but three movies are being shot at one time. The cast and crew of the movies are, however, grateful to God that nothing untoward has taken place as far as they are concerned. But, the fear is always lurking in their minds. Hopefully, everything would go as scheduled.

The local police wants the shooting to be done without notifying the locations and their timings so that there is no gathering of public there. Imtiaz's untitled movie will resume second day shoot with Deepika at Old Delhi (Lal Quila) and Mehrauli, near Qutab Minar. In its first day, a makeshift cycle shop had been erected inside the Red Fort for Saif Ali Khan ready to shoot with an air-pump in his hand! No sooner it ended after a few takes than it was time for lunch because it began to rain. Hence, Saif ordered "Pepper chicken, yellow dal, dry bhindi, curd, char chappati bina ghee lagaye', according to a report.

At another location where director Rakeysh's film 'Dilli 6' was being shot was a bit tense as its permission to shoot inside the international airport was over, and shooting outside the airport was denied. The director Rakeysh is happy that Delhi is back to normal for further shoot. Incidentally, Abhishek Bachchan escaped narrowly last Saturday. Someone close to him informs that Abhishek was being driven around Connaught Place (CP) to promote 'Drona' when he heard a huge bang. After reaching the hotel he learnt that the noise was of a blast that occurred in CP. The actor is in Delhi to shoot for 'Dilli 6', too, along with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Rishi Kapoor and Waheeda Rehman, who are scheduled to shoot at the International airport, followed by a trip to Agra and back to Delhi for more shooting.

The third movie being shot in Delhi is 'It's My Life' with its cast comprising Harman Baweja, Sanjay Kapoor, Aneez Bazmi and Boney Kapoor. The shooting is scheduled to take place close to the Chhattarpur Temple.
