Fans of Shahid Kapoor are in for a surprise! Vishal Bharadwaj's 'Kaminay' has the actor in a character that's completely opposite his image-- hard-hitting and raw! After delivering solo 3 hits in a row, Shahid will again will be seen in one more solo starrer 'Kaminey', which the industry feel is quite commendable, considering that many top actors would like to work with Vishal Bhradwaj. A source close to the actor revealed, "Kaminay' is typical Vishal Bharadwaj brand of cinema. The characters are devoid of any glamour.

Even the locations are rustic and hard hitting. Keeping the entire mood of the story in mind, Shahid has a look of a guy who is absolutely raw, hard and tough. This is for the first time that Shahid will be seen playing this kind of a character. It is in complete contrast to image that he has built up through films like 'Vivah', 'Jab We Met' and 'Kismat Konnections'. The locations Goregoan Station, Wadi Bunder and Kandivali junkyards and many such locations in Pune only add to Shahid's rawness in the film."
