So, PNC stalled the release because Mani owed the production house Rs 12,00,000 . However, the matter got resolved when the director returned the money to Nandy. Later, the film was all set for release on July 11 and even the premiere of the film was held on July 9 in Delhi. Nevertheless, the July 11 release date had to be cancelled at the last moment when multiplexes, especially PVR and Adlabs group, were unwilling to accommodate the film as 'Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na' (PVR) and 'Love Story 2050' (Adlabs) were already set for those shows. The makers were left with no choice but to postpone their film further. The film was fixed to release on August 1 , but once again problems cropped up between the producer and director. Hopefully, God will be gracious enough to listen to Sameer's prayers for 'Mukhbiir's final release on August 29.
