Hollywood actor Will Smith is mad in love with Bollywood and believes that the future of international cinema lies in the tie-up between the world's two largest entertainment industries. His latest superhero flick 'Hancock' is all set to release in India on July 11th (tomorrow). Smith, whose films 'Men in Black', 'I am Legend', 'Independence Day', 'Hitch' and 'Pursuit of Happiness' met with box-office success in India, hopes that 'Hancock' would be a blockbuster and will be widely appreciated in India. He says that the Indian audience is a good judge of movies. He is, therefore, very keen on exploring possibilities of working in an Indian film. He has had a word with Karan Johar, and is anxiously awaiting his nod.
In 'Hancock', Smith plays the character of a superhero who saves countless lives but in the due course also unwittingly inflicts jaw-dropping damages to public property. This is an action movie and is directed by Peter Burg. The movie has cost over USD 150 million. Oscar winning actress Charlie Theron and actor Jason Bateman also star in the movie. Smith is a co-producer the film. Interestingly, Indian actress Aishwarya Rai was Will Smith's first choice for 'Hancock' over Oscar-winning Charlize Theron, but the former declined. He believes that he and Aish would share good on screen chemistry. " I would love to work with Aishwarya. She is gorgeous. I will do anything to work with her. "His other favorite actors are Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. Amitabh Bachchan is a rocking man, he adds.
