Preity Zinta isn't only a pretty actress but also a successful woman entrepreneur. She was recently caught candid on camera holding a cricket bat! Preity is casting her shadow on everything she touches upon. Hopefully, she will similarly shine in her family life after marrying with her boyfriend, hailing from the well-known industrial house of Wadias who are equally well connected with the political circles in India and its neighborhood.

TITANS AVOID CLASH
There is a happy news for the viewers as the scions of two filmi khandaans - the Bachchans and the Kapoors -- will not collide now on the forthcoming Independence day. The wisdom has prevailed on both as they have decided to avoid clash of titans . Thus, Abhishek starrer 'Drona' and Ranbir's 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' will now be releasing on different days altogether. 'Drona's director Goldie Behl has decided to pull out of the race and has postponed the release date of his movie by a week. So, the high budget SFX extravaganza will now hit the screens on 22nd August 2008, along with Sanjay Dutt`s 'Kidnap'. This will leave an open field for the Ranbir-Deepika starrer, 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', on August 15.

Kunal Kohli is the first director who has objected to the use of the term for an actress. He says this is derogatory for female stars. So, he is averse to item numbers in movies. The director isn't opposed to the performance, but to the term used for it. Let people use the term, but I will never call any song in my film an item number, he added. The director of `Hum Tum` and `Fanaa`, fame returns to the marquee with `Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic`, starring Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji. He elaborates that the story is interesting as it revolves around four orphaned children and has elements of magic, love and fun, but no item songs! Though Amisha Patel is there but for a song, not an item number. Besides, she has an important role to play in the movie.
