Mahesh Bhatt is planning another 'real-life' movie. This time the filmmaker is inspired by the gory murder of a young creative head of a TV production house allegedly by an actress and her naval officer boyfriend, in Mumbai in the recent past. Bhatt says that the movie will explore the collapse of value system in India through the eyes of a police officer who has cracked the murder mystery. "The film is an extension of my last film 'Jannat'. It is the story of young India which is ready to cross the 'Laxman Rekha' of all values to get what they want," he adds.
Bhatt and his scriptwriter Shagufta Rafique have already met the concerned police officer for obtaining inputs on the sensational killing of Neeraj Grover, apparently fallout of a love triangle. This is to recall that Grover, creative head of Synergy Adlabs, was allegedly killed by film actress Marrayya Monica Susayraj (27) and her boyfriend Lt M L Jerome Mathew (25) only recently. His body was then chopped into pieces by the two. Rafique clarifies that he is neither trying to sensationalize the murder nor make a documentary out of it. The film will explore the reasons as to what led to this tragic end of three young, educated people. Bhatt also says that they were not trying to demonize Grover, Susayraj or Mathew.
