Isn't Saif Ali Khan going to succeed Shah Rukh Khan in Bollywood? This seems to be so. Saif is in great demand with the producers and the directors. As a result, his fee is skyrocketing. Though he hails from a Bollywood family with his mother as yesteryears boldest and topmost actress, Saif followed his fahter's Nawabi sophistication and style. After going through ups and downs in his career, the star has now established himself as the would-be number one. Whether it was 'Ek Haseena Thi', 'Dil Chahta Hai', 'Omkara', 'Being Cyrus', 'Parineeta', 'Salaam Namaste', 'Kal Ho Na Ho', 'Hum Tum' or the recently released 'Race', Saif has punched his mark successfully. Who knows Saif may be leaving his predecessors like the three Khans of Bollywood, khiladi Akshay Kumar and even Hrithik Roshan, behind in the race for top slot. His performance in the recently released 'Race' has established his credentials in this respect.

Saif is all set to explore unexplored territories. The actor has just launched his production brand Illuminati Films with famous directors like Shriram Raghvan, Imtiaz Ali and Homi Adjania. In fact, Saif will play the lead in Raghvan's 'Agent Vinod' and in Karan Johar's untitled venture and with whom his latest love Kareena Kapoor. It's for nothing that the Bollywood's promising Queen Bee Kareena Kapoor has chosen to live with Saif in spite of the wide gap in their ages and contrary to the wishes of her as well as Saif's family. Significantly, he has earned goodwill with all the senior directors. And, the producers are envying with each other to hijack Saif for their ventures. After all, Saif's latest movie 'Race' has already made collections of Rs 350-400 million, quite close to those of Shah Rukh Khan's mega movie, 'Om Shanti Om'.
