Shilpa Shetty has won the whole of Europe through her fitness DVD 'Shilpa's Yoga' as it has topped the charts, giving tough competition to other recently released workout videos of fitness specialists Davina McCall, Samanda, Erin Boag, Karen Hardy, Rebecca Wheatley, Nell McAndrew, Fleur Murray, Lilia Kopylova, Gaynor Faye and Danielle Llyod, in the European market. There has been a craze all over the world and in Europe in particular to maintain a slim waist without dieting. Shilpa's yoga secrets seem to be doing wonder by helping achieve that. Shilpa's publicist Dale Bhagwagar has announced it before the media. "No doubt the DVD is selling like cakes". In 'Shilpa's Yoga', the actress reveals her fitness secrets to create a lean and toned body while retaining all the feminine curves. Outlining the various benefits of yoga, the DVD demonstrates specific sequences to enhance concentration, agility and flexibility. Shilpa has been practicing yoga for years and has obtained a special training from her gurus - Shiv Kumar Mishra and Vinayak Dixit - before demonstrating them to the world. Her video showcases the right techniques of doing ashtanga yoga including breathing techniques. The DVD has been shot at the backwaters in Kerala under the direction of Manish Jha (of the critically-acclaimed feature films 'Matrabhoomi' and 'Anwar' fame). The package also contains a free lounge music CD with compositions by Pankaj Awasthi to help unwind and relax after practicing the yoga techniques.

Well known lyricist Javed Akhtar has announced that Jodhaa Akbar is the mother of all Bollywood films that have been till date. This is to recall that Javed is the person who has given us films like Sholay and Deewar in the past. His remarks are, therefore, noteworthy. Yes, he has written lyrics for this movie, too. KUNAL KHEMMU'S PROFESSIONALISM
Actors these days are a determined lot and for them work comes first. This has been recently proved during the shooting of Shree Ashtavinayak's next Superstar, directed by Rohit Jugraj and starring Kunal Khemmu, Tulip Joshi and Aushima Saawhney in the lead. Believe it that the unit of Superstar was shooting a song in a bungalow at Mud Island and most of the portion of the song was to be shot underwater. And, unfortunately Kunal had 103-degree temperature for the last two days, which rendered him weak and exhausted. However, the actor braved it and shot all his scenes quickly. Kunal didn't mind being drenched in water in spite of high temperature. The movie is releasing on February 8th.
INDIAN 'FEVER' GRIPS MADONNA

Trust it that international pop star Madonna, who has been in India for the past few weeks, is planning to incorporate a number of Indian beats into her upcoming album. Not just a taste of India, but also a hint of Latin tunes. Her next album will comprise Indian and Latin beats, and will mix Bollywood and Latin dance moves. We have learnt it from a source quite close to her. She will be starting work on her first video for the album in April-May this year, the source adds. But this is not the first time the Material Girl singer will be using Indian elements in her music. The video of her 1998 hit Frozen showed the singer sporting henna tattooes, specifically a hennaed 'Om' on the palm of her hand. Yogics also see a number of yoga asanas and mudras in her dance movements in the video.
