No surprise that Salman Khan has been shooting for Subhash Ghai's 'Yuvaraaj' in Mumbai. No sooner he was released from the jail in the alleged killing of a black buck than the Khan began shooting for Ghai this month. Incidentally, Bollywood's showman has come back though after a lapse of years to direct his home production. This is to recall that the Ghai's last directorial movie was his earlier home production 'Kisna'. This is another matter that his 'Kisna had flopped at the box office. The movie stars Anil Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Zayed Khan and Boman Irani, besides Salman. Ghai launched the movie with a song sequence at Khandala near Mumbai, on September 12th.
While famous music director A R Rahman has composed the music for the movie, an equally well known lyricist Gulzar has penned its lyrics. The song sequence on the launch occasion was picturized on Katrina Kaif, the love lady of Salman. Among others associated with different departments are: cinematography by Kabir Lall, art direction by Omung Kumar of the 'Black' and 'Saawariya' fame and choreography by Shiamak Davar. 'Yuvraaj' is Ghai's biggest ever movie with a budget of over Rs 500 million, it is learnt. According to circles close to Ghai, he will take along the entire cast of the movie for shooting abroad for three weeks.

Yes, Salman Khan has already sought the court permission to resume shooting and go abroad for it. Ghai is determined to complete the shooting schedule, especially with Salman, before October 24th, the date fixed for next hearing of the revised petition filed by Salman in the Rajasthan High Court. Salman had surrendered on August 25 to the Jodhpur police after the sessions court of Jodhpur turned down his appeal against his five year sentence awarded by the Chief Judicial Magistrate on April 10 last year. The actor spent six nights in jail, before being granted bail by the Rajasthan High Court on August 31, and his five year sentence being suspended till a final order on the revision petition.

Who says that Sallu is down? He isn't. We just learnt from horse' mouth that Aamir Khan's father Tahir Hussain is returning to his old profession of film production after a lapse of some ten years. Sources close to him reveal that Tahir is planning three movies. And, significantly, he has decided to sign Salman Khan in one of his three movies. Besides, Tahir has planned to cast Priyanka Chopra, Preity Zinta and Akshay Kumar in lead roles in this Salman starrer. Interestingly, Tahir has also decided to assign the direction of this movie to none other than Suhel Khan!
