The would be real couple has turned the reel one in director Imtiaz Ali 's forthcoming movie titled 'Jab We Met' . This is a movie that has been shot in India, mostly in the hilly areas like Manali, Kulu and Shimla. The movie belongs to the banner of Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision, and has been produced by Dhillin Mehta. The significant thing about the movie is that its lead pair, Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapur, have been in intense love with each other in their real life for quite a long time. Besides, they have vowed to marry soon. While Kareena Kapoor plays Geeta, Shahid Kapur acts as Aditya. Other important actors in the movie are Dara Singh and Kiran Juneja, besides others. The music of the movie has been composed by Pritam Chakraborty.
According to a film critic, the movie's story seems to be similar to that of 'Dhai Akshar Prem Ke', another love story. Aditya played by Shahid is an industrialist who suffers acute depression because his girlfriend gets married to another man. So, he leaves his place. However, during his train journey a girl meets him. Incidentally, the girl is faced with a similar situation. She is running away from home to meet her boyfriend! As the fate would have it, both are left with no money. They arrive in Ambala where the girl's family stays. The family takes it that the two are in love with each other.

However, one day the girl runs away to meet her boyfriend but finds to her horror that her boyfriend doesn't love her. She realizes that she was now in love with Aditya. Her family discovers her and takes her back home to finally help the two get married. Thus, this is a family movie based on a simple story. Though the story doesn't have much meat yet it has lots of story material inasmuch as the religious functions, family ceremonies and other happenings at Ambala in Punjab. Apart from it, the movie has much in store for the viewers in the form of the couple's romance during their train journey.
