Versatile actor Naseeruddin Shah is indeed very happy following his next film 'Shoot on Sight' based on the July 7, 2005 bombings in London, going on the floor with Jagmohan Mundhra wielding the megaphone under the banner of his company Cine Boutique Entertainment. The movie is being produced by Aron Govil. The company sources hope to wrap up the movie by the middle of July and then release it before the end of the year. Naseeruddin is playing the lead role of Tariq Ali, a Muslim police officer of Scotland Yard, in the movie.
Tariq is asked to hunt down suspected suicide-bombers involved in the July 7 attacks. However, Tariq's task gets more and more complex. First, the Scotland Yard police kill an innocent Muslim, and then when he marries with a British woman. Both the incidents make him a suspect in the eyes of his colleagues. The movie has an interesting mixed star cast - Brian Cox, Greta Scacchi, Stephen Greif, Om Puri, Sadie Frost, Mikaal Zulfikar and Laila Rousas, a Moroccan Indian actress popular in Britain.
