The Hindi movies depend these days on skin and body exposure coupled with sex as their subject, rather than on the talent and skill of actors and social themes. Though a section of society has developed indifferent attitude towards such films, yet a larger section watches it for its cheap entertainment. Despite a lot of critical press, such films are still being made. Industry sources point out that Vicky Ranawat is making 'Haseena', starring Isha Koppikar and Raj Babbar, and Karan Razdan 'Sautin' with Mahima Chaudhary and Gulshan Grover.

Both Isha and Mahima play negative roles in these movies. The subject matter also seems to be the same. How long the industry can survive on this basis is a big question? It's for nothing that sex symbols in movies have to pay heavily due to their sexy scenes and skin shows in movies. Reports have been pouring in Hindi movie heroines like Meghna Naidu and Mallika Sherawat had to face uncivilized behavior from in the public. Recently, Meghna and her boyfriend Raj Shetty, had to file a police report against four teasers.

Besides, Meghna underwent such an ugly incident in Ahmedabad too when some unsocial persons were found peeping through a hole into her green room. It is wondered if these guys had watched her changing clothes there! These incidents need to be curbed in the bud otherwise they can exploit the modern IT technology to make actors' lives miserable as had been witnessed in the past in the case of MMS and e-mail of a woman resembling Preity Zinta and an Internet porn film featuring Manisha K, a Manisha Koirala look-alike. And not in the distant past, Kareena Kapoor, Mallika and Riya had undergone such a torture.
