Shaan is one of the prominent playback singers of our genre. This time he comes out with one of the biggest Indi-pop albums, which is versatile as well as entertaining. Shaan who rendered songs in the biggest blockbusters of the year proves to be a gem. "In Panchiyon Ko" from 'Koi Mil Gaya' and "It's time to Disco" from 'Kal Ho Na Ho' have toplisted every chartbuster. The title song of his new album 'Aksar' is a soul-stirring sentimental soundtrack sung melodiously. This track will certainly find top place in alltime Indi-Pop favorites.

Shaan's par excellence talent is exhibited in each and every soundtrack he renders. The album has nine soundtracks with international talents like Samira Said and boy band 'Blue', sharing spotlight with Shaan. The album has the remix version of Shaan's evergreen hit "Tanha Dil". The taste of Rock 'n' Roll could be felt in track "Na Kehna Nahi Tha" whereas tracks like "Hain Kabhi Tum" and "Chand Akela Hai" will find its place in everlasting melodies. Samira Said and Shaan compose "Har Taraf" beautifully. "Kolli El Awkaat" inspires the song from the album "Youm Wara Youm". It comes a welcome surprise, as it is one of its kinds. Boy Bands have always been a rage in India, for the first time Boy band 'Blue' ventures with Indi-Pop singer Shaan and the coming out with mind-blowing performance. Shaan's enormous talent cannot be encapsulated in one album.
