T.P Agarwal, producer of 'Return Of Jewel Thief' and 'Bharat Bhagya Vidhata' has made 'Love in Nepal'. Why suddenly a movie was shot in Nepal is the first question that strikes in the minds of those who have seen people of Nepal burning effigies of Hrithik Roshan after he allegedly said on some TV channel that he hates Nepalese. Again, there was a furor over Madhuri Dixit's comment when her tongue slipped to include Nepal as an Indian state. But the answer is simple. In today's business oriented Bollywood, no producer would like to lose money on making a film. So he keeps every option open to make money. Sonu Nigam has met with failure in his earlier films 'Jani Dushman' and 'Kaash Aap Hamare Hote'. He hails from Delhi and so is his director . They are in great need of a hit and this results in 'Love in Nepal'. The producer has taken care to include a fresh face, Jharna; from Nepal film industry. The film's promos have ensured an above average opening in metros and seeing the content and the way Rajat has handled this comic thriller, T.P Agarwal will not be a loser.

Sonu Nigam plays Abby in 'Love In Nepal'. He is undisciplined kind of a guy who takes pleasure in playing and fooling around. He is unsophisticated and some time wacky too. But he is creative head of an advertising agency called Madness. He is a flirt by heart and every time he sees a girl, his heart goes ga ga over her. His style is different. And that's the biggest asset of his personality. But things don't go like this for long. A gorgeous lady with lots of oomph joins this Madnees. She is Meenaxi Malhotra aka Maxi. South Indian actress Fllora plays this role (she also did a cameo in T.P. Agarwal's last film 'Bharat Bhagya Vidhata'). Maxi is no non-sense girl. Director Rajat Mukherjee who showed his caliber as a film maker in his very first film 'Road' once again has geared up to show to the world that 'Road' failed because there were so many interferences by his mentor Ram Gopal Verma. Most of the people praised the movie except the end of the film. In 'Love In Nepal', Rajat has taken precaution not to get carried away by the scenic beauty of the locations. This is shot mainly in Pokhra and Mastang in Nepal, and Sonu had a narrow escape during shooting. And as per the box office results too Sonu has been lucky for not being rejected outwardly. He may not be a good actor and perfect emoter, but he can excel in comedy. Directors need to look at this ability. Sonu is very good at mimicry and no one has done this till date on screen. In this film he attires a new look and looks yawnky enough to be liked and loved by girls. Unluckily film's music is a minus point. People expect some mellifluous and romantic songs that he sang in his super hit albums 'Jaan' and others. He gets 6 out of 10 marks in this film. But you can also watch the film for the baring daring skin show of this sexy bimbette called Fllora Saini. She can give run for the money to the heroines like Ramya and Urmila. She is too hot on screen. Jharna makes an impressive entry though.

She joins the company as the Vice President - Operations, after the takeover of the agency by a multi-national entity. Maxi hates the attitude of Abby, and is hell bent on teaching him a lesson. From here a fight of ego begins between the two and this Tom and Jerry relationship turns into a love story when they are sent to Nepal to shoot. But the situation demands them to unite to solve problems facing both of them. This requires a great deal of honor to be shown by Maxi to Abby. Soon conditions change and also relations between them .Then blooms 'Love In Nepal'. And meanwhile Abby comes out with many hilarious moments of comic pleasure. The story also has a twist when Jharna comes on the scene. That is not to be disclosed here as it may affect the pleasure of watching the film in theatres.

As a director Rajat Mukherjee has progressed a lot from 'Road' but there is a flaw that he gives too much attention to technical aspects of the picturization of sequences. Frame formation, camera movement, lighting, and effects are better than the acting reflexes of the cast. The plus point is that it comes on the eve of a festive weekend, which will help it in getting business in small as well as metro centers. And, there should be some good collection in Nepal too; after all it is 'Love In Nepal'.
