Bollywood believes in repeating some of the subjects and storylines. A movie called 'Parveen Babi' is now being made as if the viewers haven't seen enough of it. This is again like the Mahesh Bhatt movie based on yesteryear Bollywood star Parveen Babi. To promote the film across the country, Amrita Dhanoa (who plays the title role) as well as Ravi Ahlawat held a press conference recently in New Delhi. He refused to divulge much about the film, and also did not comment on the portrayal of the relationship between Parveen Babi and Mahesh Bhatt.

Justifying his stance, he said that the audience is already aware of the names he is hinting at. At that very moment actress Amrita expresses her views on her dream role and her inspiration in Bollywood besides her experience. She feels that her 'Parveen Babi' is quite different from the Bhatt's 'Woh Lamhe' . Besides, there is a great need for such a movie to impart moral to the young generation. She tells this to the Smashits team.

How are you feeling about the movie that is going to release soon ?

I am already feeling the fatigue of being in the profession and plan to take a break. I attribute it primarily to the emotionally draining experience of playing a character inspired by the late Parveen Babi (pauses). Please Elaborate... Parveen Babi has drained me out completely. I'm tired at the end of it as I had to go through all those myriad emotions Parveen went through in her life. I have been shooting continuously even otherwise.

How did 'Parveen Babi' happen?

The producer of the film contacted me then I went for an audition and was selected for the film. I was excited, but also realized that it was a very big responsibility.

What about the music of the film?

Well, I think as when we see the last song the viewers could be totally emerged in that song so it's better to say that the music will also liked by the audience.

Is there any need to repeat movies on the same subject?

Yes, of course. Everybody cannot make a movie. You know, everything was goody in a dramatized rather than a realistic way whereas Parveen Babi's is a true story and such films need to be made to impart moral to the young generation.

Is your movie similar to Mahesh Bhatt's 'Woh Lamhe'?

No, it's a totally different story as it shows the true incidents of Parveen Babi's life.

Is it a challenge to 'Woh Lamhe'?

I don't think so because it's absolutely different as I said earlier, it is a true story not a created drama

What's your dream role?

It's too early to decide my dream role as right now I have just entered in Bollywood. However, I want to do Madonna.

Who inspires you in Bollywood?

Rekhaji inspired me a lot.
