Nauheed Cyrusi , who began as a model, featuring in many music videos, especially in her memorable 'Piya Basanti' that drew attention of Bollywood producers, has had stints in advertisements on television and the print media. Her role though brief in the youth-oriented television series 'Hip, Hop, Hooray'' took her to her film debut in Padam Kumar's 'Supari', starring Uday Chopra and Rahul Dev. Though the film flopped, director Vikram Bhatt chose her for 'Inteha' opposite Ashmit Patel. The smashits met her in New Delhi recently.

Excerpts of her interview:

What's your role in the movie?

Monica considers fame as happiness so she tries to become an actress and earn fame. The story of the film is mainly about today's youth.

The co-stars have nicely performed and done justice with their characters. Like me they aspire to attain their goal that is happiness.

How's your experience with Vikram Bhatt?

Vikram is a good director and I really got exulted to work with him. He is very clear about his idea about the film.

How's been your chemistry with him?

Really, we have a very good understanding. As far as he is concerned he is very friendly and fun-loving so it is nice for me to have better relationship.

Did you rehearse a lot for the film?

Not very much because the film is based on the today's youth and all of us are at that stage. So, it became easy and interesting.

How's the music in 'Life Main Kabhi Kabhi'?

The music is by Lalit Pandit and lyrics by Sameer. The film goes parallel with the music.

Which is your favorite song?

My favorite song is 'Balle Balle...'
