Soundtracks of movies featuring Salman Khan

Salman Khan’s full name is Abdul Rashid Salman Khan. He is a popular Indian film actor. He is considered to be one of the biggest superstars in the industry.

Salman is the eldest son of celebrated screenwriter Salim Khan and his wife Salma Khan. He has two brothers, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan, and two sisters, Alvira and Arpita.

Salman came to screen with a small role in a Rekha and Fahrukh Shekh starrer,' Biwi Ho To Aisi'. His role in the movie was insignificant and failed to give his any recognition in the industry. Being the son of famous movie writer, he was brought up in an environment that molded him to be a successful actor in the Industry one day. His fate finally brightened up with the release of Rajshri's 'Maine Pyar Kiya' that acted as his Debut movie. The movie did wonders on the Screen and Salman became the hottest star. This movie broke all the records and brought to him unlimited fame and new assignments.

Salman was flooded with new proposals but still he selected all his movies with great caution. As a result, he gave several successive hits. 'Baaghi', 'Sanam Bewafa', and 'Sanam Bewafa' raised his career to top and he was considered to be filling the number one position. But after this came an era of flops which was the result of the disturbance in his personal life. His charm started declining. This was the end of the first phase of his Movie career, and he was required to put real substance in his work in order to come back into the race.

Then came 'Saajan' that gave Salman a new image, and he again emerged in fame. Salman's growing success soon went to his head, and due to his bad attitude, he became extremely unpopular with the Press. Press labeled him as an arrogant, rude and ill-mannered Actor. His behavior made the Producers think ten times before signing him in any movie. The only one impressed by him was Sooraj Barjatya who launched him through his Blockbuster 'Maine Pyar Kiya'. Sooraj again casted Salman in 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun'. The movie did wonders on the screen and brought the people back to theatre. The movie celebrated a Golden Jubilee, and again he was the Star of the masses.

His recent releases included Jaan-E-Mann (2006), Baabul (2006), and Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute To Love (2007). He is scheduled to appear in his first Hollywood movie, Marigold: An Adventure in India, which will open in the U.S. in August 2007.

So the Era for the craze for Salman's fans continue, making his fans loose their breath when he takes off his shirt on the screen, thus revealing his perfect muscular body. It is his self-deprecating humour; however, that turns even the uninitiated into his die-hard fan.
