Le Visage organised a party for 28 beauties at the Vie Lounge, Juhu, Mumbai.
28 global beauties from around the globe arriveed in Mumbai on April 16 to launch Le Visage, The International Face of Tomorrow.
Mumbai is about to witness an event that will introduce the concept of Global Fusion- Le Visage 2006 The Search for the Face of Tomorrow- on April 21, 2006.
This vision is brought to you by Silicon Valley technocrat, Rahul Roy. He has taken companies public in the Silicon Valley, partnered with the likes of Bill Gates and is the Chief Technology Officer of a American Reprographic Company, a mega corporation with half a billion in revenues that went public February 2005.
A philanthropist, activist and a mentor, his vision for the new India, is one where the arts, entertainment and the culture of the subcontinent actually reaches out to the globe and influence it. "My vision is to create a fusion between the business and the entertainment world.? states Roy
To globalize Indian culture, fashion and entertainment, Roy has partnered with Rennu Dhillon to present Le Visage 2006 ? The Face of Tomorrow, an international modeling competition where 50+ beautiful women from countries around the world will compete to be discovered as the new Face of Tomorrow. Through this competition, their supporters and sponsors will drive the focus and attention of the western world and other emerging countries to India & vice versa.
Rennu has been organizing beauty pageants for over a decade now. So what?s unique about that? Simple! Her contests, unlike the others are not about the outer beauty, she is looking to give a gift that stays- the gift of self esteem. Her NRI Global (www.nriglobal.org) does just that. The contestants go through a very rigorous personality round and the mind is rewarded points too. Even the contestant who does not finish on the podium, experiences a positive change and outlook, at the end of the event. This is probably the only pageant, where the participants are given the status of ?delegates.?
A person of multiple talents, she conceptualized and is the founder of a unique educational establishment in the US, called Genius Kids (www.geniuskids.us). This is an accelerated learning center (calling it a school would be doing it an injustice). It is a centre of excellence, where children as young as 18 months old are exposed & taught the skills that traditional schools only can aspire to, effective communication, reading, independent thinking and the ability to express and articulate with confidence. The very qualities that create the leaders of tomorrow.
