Hop in for a Hip Ride... Ed Hardy & Christian Audigier arrive in India.
26th December 2007: An intoxicating mix of colours created with an interesting mix of designs and forms - inspired by an art form that is a way of life all over the world - Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier is finally opening its doors to India. Retailed by the Wadhawan Lifestyle Private Ltd, Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier will mark its debut in India with 2 stores in Delhi and Mumbai, taking the current rage of hip hop fashion to a whole new level of excitement. A brand Hollywood and the international glitterati swears by has a strong fan following in India with the stylish Bollywood set , setting style trends at par with the rest of the world. Walking the ramp for the stylish label were Urmila Matondkar, Amrita Arora, Sophie Chaudhary, Arjun Rampal, Manav Gangwani and Usman-.Adding to the ambience were the funky installations and the international juggling act. The party continued into the wee hours with DJ Aqueel playing foot-tapping numbers after the show. Promoter Dheeraj Wadhawan hosted the party.

Spread over 2400 sq feet, the Ed Hardy store spells attitude - with bright wood work and tattoo prints donning the walls, it also houses the Ed Hardy Café. The Christian Audigier store next door stocking the premium line by designer Christian Audigier houses the entire line of bags, Hoodies, Accessories, Belts, T-shirts, Shoes and Lowers embellished with gold prints and sequined stone detailing. The range for the same starts Rs.4500 onwards.
