When we say authentic Chinese cuisine, the first restaurant to come to mind is Krishna Tamang?s Chinagate in Bandra. Now, the prestigious restaurant opened its first branch in Atria Millenium Mall, Worli on June 14 to cater to townside Chinese cuisine lovers as well.
'Expansion is a natural progression,' smiles Krishna Tamang, the man behind Chinagate, Caravan Serai, Red Box and Golden Orchid among others. With regular customers coming from as far as Colaba, and others from Worli and up wanting home delivery on a frequent basis, it was essential to facilitate a process that would help us serve our patrons better. Hence the new branch.?
With a menu that boasts of very popular Chinese fare of the likes of the Peking Duck, Pot Rice, Lotus Fries, Crispy Corn Water Chestnut, Taipe Chicken, Prawn Butter Pepper, Thai Grilled Chicken, Prawn Crushed Chili besides Chicken Suimai, Prawn Steamed Dumplings, Pork Potsticker Dumplings, among 300 tasty dishes in its mouth-watering fare, Chinagate with its pleasant ambience, ever-smiling hosts, and authentic Chinese cuisine is sure to be the talk of the town, just as its suburban counterpart!
The opening of Chinagate was attended by a host of celebrities including MP Vijay Darda, actors Aman Verma, Jasbir Kaur, Kishwar, Hiten Paintal, Manish Khanna, Rio Kapadia, Gaurav Chanana, Brij Katyal, Kapil Sharma, Jennifer Mayani, Karan Kapur, Menka Chopra, Avinash Wadhawan with wife Natasha, director Mohit Hussein with wife Chhavi, Shakir with his models Bobby, Preeti, Gwen, Priya, among others?.
And what is more, Chinagate is soon to open branches in different parts of Mumbai.
