Zoya Akhtar's ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ has grossed Rs.1.08 billion in 10 days. The film about the adventurous road trip in Spain of three friends stars Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Kalki Koechlin and Katrina Kaif. The film has earned Rs.860 million at the domestic box office (net collection Rs.600 million) and Rs.220 million overseas. The film released on over 1,800 screens. Nandu Ahuja, senior vice president (Distribution), India, Eros International Media Ltd, says they are ecstatic with the audience as well as critics' reactions to 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'. They are expecting the film to continue its performance in the coming week as well. The film opened to rave reviews and raked in Rs.525 million worldwide in the very first weekend.

Salman Khan’s long awaited ‘Bodyguard’ has made him scored a hat trick at the box-office. The film has earned Rs 200 million on the first day of its release. Two of his recent hits, ‘Dabanng’ and ‘Ready’, raked in the moolah too. While ‘Dabanng’ collected Rs 140 million on the first day, ‘Ready’ garnered Rs 125 million. Before this Aamir Khan's ‘3 Idiots’ had been the highest first day grosser with Rs 130 million. The massive opening for ‘Bodyguard’, which also stars Kareena Kapoor, could not have come at a better time for Salman Khan who is battling ill health. He is in the United States for two surgeries to tackle his neurological problems-trigeminal neuralgia and a form of brain aneurysm. He is scheduled to undergo the procedures within a couple of days. While, Fun Cinemas' Head of Operations Vishal Anand, said this is the highest-ever opening in Bollywood, beating ‘Dabbang’ by nearly 15%., trade analyst Taran Adarsh credits the first-day rush to the "Salman phenomenon".
